Suggested Passage Plans... A weekend away ….without leaving home!
Friday 5pm Pick up your yacht from Rushcutters Bay for a twilight sail on the harbour, a cold glass of your favourite drink in your hand, oblivious to the hustle and bustle and peak hour traffic 7pm Anchor in Athol Bay. Unpack the picnic hamper and enjoy the spectacular sunset over the city skyline Saturday 8am Row ashore to Whiting Beach for an early morning walk Breakfast aboard then hoist sails for a cruise to Store Beach at Little Manly Noon Drop anchor for lunch and a swim. Relax with a good book, or a good bottle of wine for the afternoon 5pm Sail down Middle Harbour to catch the 6.30pm Spit Bridge opening 7pm Moor at d’Albora Marina at the Spit, dine at either Fergusons Boatshed or Orso Restaurant along the waterfront under the bridge or at Spittlers on the marina Sunday 9am Breakfast underway as you explore the scenic upper reaches of Middle Harbour Catch the 11.30 Spit Bridge opening and anchor for lunch at Castle Rock, Middle Harbour. Catch the mobile cappuccino and ice cream boat for a Sunday treat! 2pm Hoist sails for an exciting sail back down the harbour 5pm Step off the yacht, totally refreshed! Perhaps a de-brief at the adjacent Cruising Yacht Club |

Enjoy the seafood feast! 5pm Sail for Watsons Bay 7pm Anchor and row ashore with your picnic rug to Doyles on the wharf, for a light takeaway, sitting on the beach…or book into the upmarket Doyles Seafood Restaurant Sunday 9am Breakfast underway as you motor to Camp Cove, row ashore for a brisk walk to South Head, then a refreshing dip! Noon Hoist sails for Seven Shillings Beach in Double Bay, anchor close to Redleaf Pool, row ashore for lunch and cappuccino at the pool cafe 5pm Step off the yacht, totally refreshed! Perhaps a de-brief at the adjacent Cruising Yacht Club |
