Start Yachting Course These introductory learn to sail courses commence regularly and the booking structure is flexible. Competent Crew Offshore To achieve your RYA Competent crew certificate you will need to do either:Start Yachting course plus 2 x 2 day offshore course or Start Yachting plus 1 x 3 day comp crew offshore course or complete a 5 day comp crew offshore course Two Day Course: $525.00 per person March 27 - 28 April 10 - 11 May 1 - 2 June 26 - 27	Competent Crew Offshore - Continued..... Day Skipper Shorebased 42 hour course covering Coastal Navigation, Seamanship and Meteorology. It is recommended that you complete the shorebased component before completing the Day Skipper Practical. The course is divided into 2 modules that can be completed in any order but must be finished by September. (RYA Course Packs are updated in September each year) Module 1: 18 hours covering Seamanship and Meteorology Module 2: 24 hours covering Navigation Course Cost $945.00 per person This course can be completed in one of 3 ways:- 1. 5 Day intensive Day Skipper Shorebased June 5-9 2. Coastal and Offshore Yachtmaster Shorebased All equipment is included. Courses are either 14 week night sessions from 6pm – 9pm or 5 consecutive days from 8.30am – 6pm Cost $995 per person 5 day intensive 8.30-5.30 each day June 5-9 14 evenings 6-9pm 28th July - 26th October Coastal and Offshore Yachtmaster Intensive 10 day 10 day full time theory and practical course covering this advanced syllabus, includes food on board yacht for 5 day practical. ISAF Safety & Sea Survival* (Held at Mosman Sea Scout Hall) This Sea Safety and Survival course comprises 18 hours inclusive of wet drills & flare demonstration. Includes advice on what personal equipment to buy and what is not good value. Includes practical CPR, Suturing and injections.A work placed approved course with a marine emphasis.0800-1830 $240.00 Wednesday March 24 Wednesday April 21 STCW 95* (Held at Mosman Bay Sea Scout Hall) 6 Day Course - STCW 95 is a mandatory entry level safety qualification required by anyone who wishes to work as a professional seafarer internationally (this includes RYA/MCA and YA SSSC, MFA and ESS certificates) $1875 March 22nd - 26th FULL April 19th - 23rd *Please note that these courses are run by Offshore Maritime Training Australia	Radar* (Held at Mosman Bay Sea Scout Hall) 1 Day Course giving an introduction to small boat radar, including pilotage and Nav techniques. includes "hands on" training on a new Raymarine E120 in the classroom which is integrated with a Chartplotter overlay, AIS and MAPAR.RYA Certificate Course. 0900 - 1700.$240.00 Tuesday April 27 Marine Radio* (Held at Mosman Bay Sea Scout Hall) 8 hour course 0900 - 1730. $240.00 Follows the syllabus of the marine operators certificate of proficiency as provided by the office of Maritime Communications. Includes "hands on" a real DSC set in the classroom and exam Wednesday March 31 Wednesday April 28 Diesel Engine Maintenance* (Held at Mosman Bay Sea Scout Hall) 1 day course covering the basics of maintenance and engine care. RYA Certificate Course. (max 5 per course) Saturdays 0900 - 1700. $240.00 Tuesday March 30 Thursday April 29 Night sailing and navigation lights course A 3 hour 'after dark' course learning about navigation makrs and lights, as well as vessel lights and on board sailing instrumentation. $85 Tues 16th March 7pm - 10pm Docking & Berthing training A 3 hour course on how to berth and secure a yacht in various locations (No Sailing included). Spinnaker Course An 8 hour course that you will want to do again & again….. 1 weekend day 9.30am – 3.30pm $225.00 Sunday April 11 Saturday May 29 Spinnaker Racing Join a crew on board a Sydney 36 with an experienced EastSail Skipper for the exciting CYCA Twilight Series tba Race Training - Spinnaker and Non-spinnaker Get ready for the summer twilight season and make your racing more enjoyable. Fine tune your sail trim and spinnaker handling skills with veteran sailor and racer, Peter Franki. 4 Saturday morning practicals from 9am - 12noon. book in for all four or just for one. Cost $395 for the course or $110 per session. TBA Club Racing EastSail's own race, crewed and skippered exclusively by EastSail graduates. (Non EastSail graduates are welcome to join in our Sails and Ales race days) A great way to gain experience after you have learnt to sail with us $55 per race or 10 races for $500. April to October - Saturday afternoons from 1.45pm November to March - Minday twilights form 5.45pm	Racing Rules Night Join official umpire and EastSail Chief Instructor, Gary Manuel, for an evening of racing rules. 6pm - 9pm.
