- Depart Orhaniye and disembark in Gocek (Closest airport is Dalaman)
- Sail on board a Brand New 43 foot Beneteau, which has four double cabins.
- Your Australian skipper will ensure that you get every opportunity to participate in the sailing of the yacht.
- Book a cabin on the yacht or book the whole yacht
Sailing Dates: 14 days from Sunday 14th to Sunday 28th September 2008 - We will pick the yachts up from from Orhaniye (45 minutes from Marmaris which is 1.5 hours from Dalaman airport) and return them to Gocek in the Gulf of Fethye (45 Minutes from Dalaman Airport). The prices are based upon 7 crew and an EastSail skipper on board each vessel.
Crusing Ground: We will be cruising between Bodrum and Fethye in the Aegean. Our cruising area covers the following places of interest and will be a mixture of quiet anchorages with a couple of tavernas to larger towns with bustling Bazaars!!! You will also experience ancient ruins, stunning scenery, friendly natives and tasty cuisine.
Some places we will call in to are: Orhaniye, Bodrum, Knidos, Bozuk Bucu, Atabol, Datca, Marmaris, Ekincik, Gemiler, Dalyan River, Gulf of Fethye, Gocek (We may also hop accross to Greece and visit Simi and Castelorizo) The final itinerary will be dependant upon the crews and the places that they wish to visit as it is their holiday.
Closest Airport: You can fly in to Dalaman, in Turkey which is approximately 1.5 hours from Marmaris and costs approximately 65 Euros in a taxi from the airport. Alternatively you can fly in to the Greek Isand of Rhodes and catch the ferry accross to Marmaris which runs twice a day and costs about 30 Euros. EastSail will arrange transport from a central location in Marmaris to the charter base at Orhaniye on Sunday 14th September. Getting there: Emirates and Singapore airlines both fly direct from Sydney to either Istanbul in Turkey or Athens in Greece from where you can catch connecting domestic flights. I strongly recommend that you check out Istanbul and other parts of Turkey and some Greek islands either prior to or after sailing if time and budget permits as they are stunning places to visit.
Hotels: There are a wide range of hotels in Turkey and prices start at approximately $70 per night per room- Greece is a bit more expensive - especially in the larger resort areas and islands.
