Terms & Conditions
BOOKING CONDITIONS for REGATTAS & TREASURE HUNTS
CONFIRMATION: Bookings cannot be confirmed until deposit isreceived. FINAL NUMBERS. Are required 72 hours prior. The invoice will be based on numbers given at this time. It may be possible to increase numbers after this time, but not decrease.
PAYMENTS: Full payment is required prior to departure. Cash is accepted, as is direct deposit, although deposits should be made at least 72 hours prior to departure.Personal and company cheques are acceptable if paid 7 days prior to charter.
BOND PAYMENTS: held for 14 days after charter. Credit card bonds are authorised but not banked. The voucher is voided and returned to you unless the boat is damaged.
REFUNDS: Refunds for any payments made are not available for any reason.
CANCELLATIONS AND POSTPONEMENTS: All bookings: Cancellations require 30 days notice prior to departure in writing. You will be required to produce written acknowledgement of your cancellation request for refunds to take place. All refunds incur a 10% administration fee.
If you cannot give the required 30 days notice for a cancellation or postponement, the deposit will be forfeited and NO REFUNDS ARE AVAILABLE WITHOUT EXCEPTION.
INCLEMENT OR UNSAFE WEATHER: EastSail determines the suitability of conditions and the possibility of postponement on the day of the charter. In the case of an approved postponement, the deposit will he held by EastSail for a future charter booking, MINUS a 10% administration fee AND the full amount of any catering and skipper fees. The remaining deposit will be held for 6 months following the postponement to be used towards another charter.
VESSEL: EastSail reserves the right to change a charterer’s booked vessel to another vessel with as similar a size and/or style as possible or cancel or postpone any booking.
CATERING: Final passenger numbers required 48 hours prior to charter. Catering cannot be cancelled inside this time and you will be charged for your order regardless of consumption. Drinks can be ordered through our cellars. No returns or storage for left over drinks available.
CAR PARKING:Car parking can be difficult around the waterfront. More than 2 hours of parking is not available on the east side of New Beach Road. Please check parking signs before leaving your car. There 2 parking stations at the Edgecliff Centre located in New McLean Street.
ATTIRE: Please ensure that your guests do not wear black soled or hard shoes as these can mark or damage the deck. Comfortable, loose clothing is recommended.
Rigid plastic or metal food containers or coolers are not permitted aboard due to the damage they cause to the varnish work. Each yacht has either an icebox or a fridge.
SURCHARGES AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS: Apply to Boxing Day, New Years period and Australia Day.
