Explore iconic Sydney Harbour in one of EastSail’s luxurious yachts that are available for bareboat yacht charter. Enjoy a scenic sail past the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House, or anchor in a quiet cove next to one of Sydney’s beautiful sandy beaches.
Our yachts are available to experienced sailors for bareboat yacht charter on the harbour. Our fleet of 17 yachts range from 9.9m-14.3m and include modern Dufour 335 and 36P, the racy, locally produced Sydney 36′ and a range of magnificent Beneteaus, including two available for offshore bareboat charters – fancy a trip up the picturesque Sydney coast to Palm Beach or The Hawkesbury for the weekend? Come sail with your mates on boats here at EastSail.
We are also part of the sharing community, our boats are available as accommodation on our marina in Rushcutters Bay. There are plenty of beds on boats – our Dufour boats have 2 double cabins plus 2 single beds in the saloon, our Beneteau boats have 3 double cabins and either 1 or 2 single beds in the saloon. There are bathroom facilities aboard and on our marina, we are adjacent to the Cruising Yacht Club who welcome visitors.

All our yachts are fully equipped for your day on the harbour, complete with an oven, icebox, cutlery and crockery in the galley, a private bathroom with hot water, and a CD stereo and iPod jack. All yachts also have a full safety inventory of lifejackets, life rings and fire safety material, as well as galley gear, a fridge and cooking facilities. On request we can supply an awning and a rowing dinghy, linen is available for $25pp. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks or we can arrange these for you. We have a mooring in Taylors Bay that you can book for lunch time swimming or for overnight charters.
Friday 5pm: Pick up your bareboat yacht charter from Rushcutters Bay for a twilight sail on Sydney Harbour, a cold glass of your favourite drink in your hand, oblivious to the hustle and bustle of the city around you.
7pm: Anchor in Athol Bay. Unpack the picnic hamper and enjoy a spectacular sunset over the city skyline.
Saturday 8am: Row ashore to Whiting Beach for an early morning walk, cook breakfast aboard then hoist sails for a cruise to Store Beach at Little Manly.
Noon: Drop anchor for lunch and a swim and relax with a good book, or a glass of wine for the afternoon.
5pm: Sail down Middle Harbour to catch the 6:30pm Spit Bridge opening
7pm: Book a berth at d’Albora Marina at the Spit, dine at Plonk beach Cafe at Fergusons Boatshed or Orso Restaurant or at the hatted Ormeggio on the d’Albora Marina.
Sunday 9am: Have breakfast under way in the morning sunshine as you explore the scenic upper reaches of Middle Harbour.
11:30am: Catch the Spit Bridge opening and anchor for lunch at Castle Rock -look out for the mobile cappuccino and ice cream boat for a Sunday treat!
2pm: Enjoy an exciting sail back down the harbour towards Rushcutters Bay.
5pm: Step off the yacht, totally refreshed! Have dinner and a drink at the nearby Cruising Yacht Club.
