EastSail - Rushcutters Bay, Sydney Harbour

Located only 3 km from Sydney's CBD (approx 8 minutes) EastSail's office is anchored at the d'Albora Marina in Rushcutters Bay. We are only minutes away from the heart of the harbour, with great sailing grounds and the iconic  Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Our marina is 100 metres passed the CYCA - the Cruising Yacht Club on New Beach Road.

Driving: From the city take the cross city tunnel and then the first left into New Beach Road.
Or head east on Park St, which becomes William St, Kings Cross Rd then Bayswater Rd. Turn left after Rushcutters Bay Park into New Beach Road.


Bus: Catch the 324 or 325 from Stand D in Circular Quay, or along Elizabeth Street. Disembark next to Rushcutters Bay Park and walk along New Beach Road (200m)

Train: Edgecliff Station is on the Eastern Suburbs line, between Kings Cross and Bondi Junction. Catch the train from Town Hall or Martin Place. Come out onto New South Head Road at Edgecliff Station and turn left (walking back towards the city) through 3 sets of traffic lights, turn right at New Beach Road, when you reach the Cruising Yacht Club you only have 50m to go!  

 

Parking: The surrounding streets have one side of the road restricted to 2 hours and the other side is generally unrestricted. Check the parking signs. Surounding streets include Yarranabbe Road, Mona Road Tnornton Street and Darling Point Road. Also look for parking on the orther side of New South Head Rd in Neild Avenue and Glenmore Road. There are two parking stations in New McLean St Edgecliff - the second one 'EastPoint' is more competitively priced

The area is home to the famous Cruising Yacht Club of Australia (CYCA), home to the famous Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race, Rushcutters Bay has two beautiful parks and a sheltered bay offering stunning views of the city skyline and hundreds of yachts to enjoy sailing in Sydney.

Sydney Harbour is one the world's most spectacular waterways, scattered with National Park islands, secluded bays, beautiful beaches and a variety of world class restaurants can found scattered throughout the Harbour. Sydney's famous icons, The Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge are only minutes from view when departing from Rushcutters Bay.
