It's never been easier to join one of EastSail's RYA Ocean Adventure Sailing trips! Experience the thrills of offshore and ocean cruising and racing with an EastSail RYA Yachtmaster Instructor beside you as your guide to the Big Blue. Add some serious milebuilders to your log book and undertake an RYA Competent Crew, Dayskipper or Coastal Skipper course while exploring the magnificent Australian East Coast from a different perspective. EastSail will be hosting our legendary Sydney to Hamilton Island to Sydney sail aboard our stunning NEW Beneteau First 40 which is specifically fitted out for offshore cruising. The voyage is divided into 7 segments, each 6-8 days in duration so whatever style of sailing you favour, EastSail has a trip that will quench your quest for adventure! On all of these legs we are offering the RYA courses of Competent Crew, Day Skipper, Coastal or Offshore Yachtmaster.
Cost $1445 for all legs except leg 4 (Hamilton Island Race Week), discounts for multiple legs.

• Leg 1: July 25-30 Sydney to Gold Coast  FULL     
• Leg 2: August 1-7 Gold Coast to Yeppoon  1 spot
• Leg 3: Aug 9-15 Yeppoon to Hamilton Is  FULL

• Leg 1: FULL Sydney to Southport / Gold Coast - 6 Days - Get your miles up and practice your offshore skills along the NSW coast. We will cover the RYA Competent Crew, RYA Dayskipper and RYA Coastal Yachtmaster syllabus with daily sailing drills and theory sessions, but there will be time to relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. There will be port entries at places such as Broken Bay, Newcastle, Esmerelda Cove on Broughton Island, Port Stephens and Coffs Harbour.There will also be 1 - 2 nights at sea to experience watch keeping systems. In exceptional circumstances it may not be possible to cover all of the syllabus on this leg. We have never encountered this situation but if conditions are unfavourable, a make up session to complete the syllabus will be arranged. Approximately 400 nautical miles.
• Leg 2: 1 SPOT LEFT Southport / Gold Coast - Yeppoon - 8 Days- This is the ultimate combination of learning, gaining experience and just plain cruising! We will be covering the 5 day Competent Crew, Dayskipper or Coastal Yachtmaster course on this 8 day leg - so time to learn and time to relax! An 8 day passage trip with an EastSail RYA Yachtmaster Instructor as your cruise director. Ports of call include Moreton Bay, Mooloolaba, the great Sandy Straits and Fraser Coast. Sailing skills will be taught and reinforced in a relaxed atmosphere. Coastal Navigation, satellite navigation, passage planning, pilotage, boat handling skills, provisioning and cooking at sea, basic engineering and maintenance, spinnaker work, reefing, man overboard drills, sailing, fishing, snorkeling, swimming, reading, lazing.....you won't want to come home! Approximately 320 nautical miles.
• Leg 3: FULL  Yeppoon (near Rockhampton) - Hamilton Island - 7 Days - We will be covering the 5 day Competent Crew, Dayskipper or Coastal Yachtmaster on this leg - so time to learn and time to relax! Visit Pearl Bay, Island Head Bay, Percy and Thomas Islands in the tropical Whitsundays region. Navigation, sat nav, passage planning, pilotage, boat handling, basic engineering and maintenance, spinnaker work, reefing, man overboard drills, sailing, fishing, snorkeling, swimming, lazing, reading. Approximately 260 nautical miles.
• Leg 4: 1 SPOT LEFT  Hamilton Island Race Week and Training Days.
• Leg 5: Hamilton Island - Yeppoon (near Rockhampton) - 8 Days - Adventurous spirits are invited to participate in this 8 day exciting voyage through the beautiful Whitsunday, Cumberland and Northumberland Islands from Hamilton Island to Yeppoon. This is the ultimate combination of learning, gaining experience and coral island cruising! The 5 day Competent Crew, Dayskipper or Coastal Yachtmaster course will be covered on this leg, so time to learn and time to relax! Your RYA Yachtmaster Instructor is your cruise director as you make ports of call at Thomas Island, The Percy Islands, Island Head Bay and Pearl Bay. Sailing skills will be taught and reinforced in a relaxed atmosphere. Coastal Navigation, satellite navigation, passage planning, pilotage, boat handling skills, provisioning and cooking at sea, basic engineering and maintenance, spinnaker work, reefing, man overboard drills, sailing, fishing, snorkeling, swimming, reading, lazing.....you won't want to come home! Approximately 260 nautical Miles.
• Leg 6: FULL Yeppoon (near Rockhampton) to Southport / Gold Coast - 8 Days - Join us for this challenging voyage from Yeppoon to the Gold Coast. The 5 day Competent Crew, Dayskipper or Coastal Yachtmaster course will be taught on this leg. This is the ultimate combination of learning, gaining experience and cruising with an EastSail RYA Yachtmaster Instructor as your cruise director. Ports of call include The great Sandy Straits, Fraser Coast, Mooloolaba and Moreton Bay. Sailing skills will be taught and reinforced in a relaxed atmosphere. Coastal Navigation, satellite navigation, passage planning, pilotage, boat handling skills, provisioning and cooking at sea, basic engineering and maintenance, spinnaker work, reefing, man overboard drills, sailing, fishing, snorkeling, swimming, reading, lazing.....you won't want to come home! Approx 320 n miles.
• Leg 7:  FULL Southport - Sydney - 7 days - Your ticket home...as far as we're concerned, it's the only way to travel! Get your miles up and practice your offshore skills. We will cover the RYA Competent Crew, RYA Dayskipper and RYA Coastal Yachtmaster syllabus with daily sailing drills and theory sessions, but there will be time to relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. There will be port entries at places such as Coffs Harbour, Esmerelda Cove on Broughton Island, Port Stephens, Newcastle and Broken Bay (Pittwater). There will also be 1 - 2 nights at sea to experience watch keeping systems. In exceptional circumstances it may not be possible to cover all of the syllabus on this leg. We have never encountered this situation but if conditions are unfavourable a make up session to complete the syllabus will be arranged. Approximately 400 nautical miles.
