It's never been easier to join one of EastSail's Ocean Adventure Sailing trips  Experience the thrills of offshore cruising with an EastSail RYA Yachtmaster Instructor beside you as your guide to the Big Blue. Add some serious miles to your log book and undertake an RYA sailing course while exploring the magnificent Australian East Coast from a different perspective. EastSail will be hosting our legendary Sydney to Hamilton Island to Sydney Sail aboard our stunning NEW Beneteau First 40 which is specifically fitted out for offshore cruising. HAMILTON ISLAND RACE WEEK - 20th to 28th August 2010 Join in the fun of the largest and most exciting sailing regatta in Australia. Sailing out of Hamilton Island on the turquoise waters of the Whitsunday Passage amongst a fleet of more than 250 yachts from around Australia and overseas. You will be sailing aboard 'IAGO' our brand new Beneteau First 40, a sister ship to the winner and second place getter in the 2009 Sydney - Hobart Yacht Race. NEWSFLASH: EastSails' Luxurious Brand New Beneteau First 40 has been launched and is ready for charter. Her sister ships "Two True and Wicked" were 1st and 2nd in the recent Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race. She is in survey for 17 guests plus EastSail skipper and is now available for skippered charters. We have entered Salt Shaker into the Cruising Yacht Club Monday night spinnaker series. RYA Yachtmaster Peter Franki will be your skipper for this exciting race series - plenty of thrills!! Cost is $75 per week. Meet at EastSail office at 6pm and after the race enjoy the apres-sailing dockside at the CYC. SEA SAFETY AND SURVIVAL COURSE. We have released dates for the next safety sea survival course, it is being run on March 27th - 28th. This course is run by experienced yachtsmen who have encountered sever weather in the Southern Ocean and have sailed around Cape Horn. You will learn about survival procedures, search and rescue, meterology, practical flares demonstration and more as well as the practical 'wet drills' in the pool. The course is recognised by the International Safety Federation as well as international MCA/RYA and local YA. Contact eleanor@eastsail.com.au 

Sails and Ales...Once a month we run monthly 'try sailing' sessions, a great way to see first hand what we do! Sail on Sydney Harbour , meet other people and check out our yachts and discuss learn to sail courses. The next try sailing is from 5.45pm on Monday evening February 15th or March 15th - join our twilight social race (bookings essential). This is an opportunity to see how our Sydney Harbour sailing school operates. Cost $75 pp including post sailing BBQ and drinks. If you then book into a learn to sail course we offer a $15 rebate on the cost. RYA Sailing Qualifications - DAYSKIPPER. We recommend you complete the Day Skipper shorebased course prior to completing the Dayskipper practical course. This theory shorebased course is 40 hours, either one evening a week, 5 weekend days or a 5 day block and  includes: Coastal Navigation Course Sydney, meteorology, seamanship and passage planning. Included are charts, navigation equipment and workbook and the interactive course is taught by our Yachtmaster instructors. LEARN TO SAIL ON SYDNEY HARBOUR - TRY SAILING !  Learn to sail aboard our fleet of sleek Beneteau 33.7 yachts on beautiful Sydney Harbour with Australia's leading sailing school.
