EastSail is located at Rushcutters Bay, just minutes from Sydney's CBD. Establised in 1983, EastSail offers a variety of fun and exciting ways to experience Sydney Harbour by sailing yacht and motor cruiser.
With a fleet of over 24 high quality performance vessels ranging from 10-20 metres, Eastsail specialise in sightseeing cruises, bareboat and skippered charters, overnight romantic packages and corporate team building events for up to 400 guests. EastSail is also the leading Royal Yachting Association / Yachting Australia Sailing School in Australia, offering courses from start yachting all the way through to offshore yachtmaster..and there is no better place to learn to sail than on Sydney Harbour.

Iago takes First Place at Hamilton Island Race Week 2010
One of four brand new Beneteau First 40's to join the EastSail fleet in 2010, Iago has taken out First Place at the Hamilton Island Race Week 2010 in the Performance Racing Division 1. Hamilton Island Race Week is Australia's largest offshore yachting regatta and witnessed approx 250 yachts take place. Race Results for Performance Racing Division 1

The 13th CBD Cellars Corporate Challenge Series.....
This is the best event you will host this summer !! Perfect for entertaining clients, teambuilding with staff and networking with like minded sailors. For the 13th consecutive year EastSail is issuing a "Challenge to the Sydney Business Community". Be a part of something special for the best inter-company twilight racing series on Sydney Harbour.
The first corporate regatta Series is October-November 2010 and the second series is in Feburary-March 2011. The event comprises of three Thursday evening races in either the Sydney 36 Division or the Brand New Beneteau First 40 Division. Entry fee also includes 3 spectators onboard the 60ft luxury cruiser MV Yarranabbe with drinks, seafood and nibbles along with the presentation BBQ dinner, drinks and prizes at the adjacent Cruising Yacht Club of Australia. Our intermediate level sail training courses: Competent Crew and Dayskipper courses are running every month, The next 2 day course is either 25-26th September or 16-17th October, and the next 3 day course is over the long weekend 2-4 October. We sail aboard our Beneteau 40.7 up the NSW coast to Pittwater, included in the course is night sailing. The RYA courses are internationally recognised sailing courses. Monthly Sails and Ales.Try Sailing on Saturday 25th September !!
Saturday afternoons at their finest !! A fantastic way to get out on Sydney Harbour for a social sail, and a chance to see if learning to sail is something you would like to do. You will be sailing on aboard one of our Beneteau yachts and not just as a passenger - you will be steering and pulling the ropes under the guidance of one of our patient and highly trained skippers! A BBQ and drinks on the dock follow the racing and all this for just $75pp. Book in now for this fun-filled afternoon, at 1.45pm Saturday 25th September. If you cannot make this date we will be runnning the Sails and Ales - Try Sailing on Monday twilights from 5.45pm when daylight saving begins. Dates are October 25, November 15 or December 6. What's Happening At EastSail Over The Coming Weeks ?
Upgrading The Fleet .....
EastSail is currently investing A$2.2 million in Five Brand New Yachts - "The Roaring Forties". The Beneteau First 40 is a Farr Design and EastSail currently has one already sailing in the fleet named "Iago" and the other three are in the final stages of their commissioing. Sister ships to Two True and Wicked, 1st and 2nd place winners in the 2009 Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race, the New Beneteau First 40's look forward to taking sailing school students offshore and racing in our corporate regattas. These are the newest boats for hire in Sydney!In late August, the fleet continued to grow with the inclusion of another Brand New Yacht, a Beneteau Oceanis 40, an elegant and performance yacht to join the EastSail fleet.

Grab a good book, some CD's and friends or family and spend the weekend afloat, sailing in Sydney and exploring the deserted upper reaches of Middle Harbour, relaxing aboard a charter boat. We have some great 3 day bareboat charter rates eg Beneteau 33.7 or a Beneteau 40.7 Yachts are also available for shorter periods with or without an EastSail skipper (Minimum hire period is 4 hours). Learn to Sail on Sydney Harbour.....
EastSail run's Australia's largest sailing school. Sign up for our RYA/YA learn to sail course 'Start Yachting' for only $499, all inclusive - no more to pay!! This beginners sailing course includes the course kit, handbook and RYA/YA certificate and log book. This is a very comprehensive introductory sailing course and includes 4 x 3 hour sailing lessons aboard our 8m Beneteau yachts on Sydney Harbour as well as a theory lesson and a FREE club twilight race. RYA/YA Sailing Qualifications - DaySkipper
We recommend you complete the Day Skipper shorebased course prior to completing the Dayskipper practical course. This theory shorebased course is 40 hours, either one evening a week, 5 weekend days or a 5 day block and includes: Coastal Navigation Course Sydney, meteorology, seamanship and passage planning. Included are charts, navigation equipment and workbook and the interactive course is taught by our Yachtmaster instructors. Once you have completed this theory navigation course you can put it into practise when completing the adventure offshore sailing component.
